Calling All Birders! We're looking for your bird observations! Can you tell us the location of a nesting bird? Did you record a list of birds on your latest outing? The Montana Bird Distribution project is looking for bird observations from around the state. Learn how to help.

Reports of bird sightings and outings are posted on the Montana Outdoor Birding Site.

If you know of events around the state, let Amy know.

September 17-18, 2010. BIllings. ACEC Event & Montana Aububon board meeting

Our next Board meeting will take place at the ACEC in Billings on Saturday, September 18th.  All board members are encouraged to join us Friday the 17th at 3:30pm to tour the facility and canoe our ponds.  We will host a social from 5-7pm for MA board members, MA staff, ACEC Council members, YRPA and YVAS board members.  This is a great opportunity to meet everyone involved with the ACEC and Montana Audubon's staff and board.

June 2011: Montana Audubon's annual bird festival

Bunting Montana Audubon will hold our annual bird festival in and Glasgowa this year - in conjuntion with their annual "Feather Fest".

Hear great speakers, visit with awesome birders from around the state, and get outside. We'll have an amazing variety of field trips planned, taking advantage of the many grasslands, wildlife refuges and birding hotspots in the surrounding areas. Pre- and post-festival field trips will once again be featured.
