April 17, 2010. Earth day celebration in billings

In honor of Earth Day, please join us for a day of restoration work at the Audubon Conservation Education Center. We’ll be planting and launching several floating islands, which will help to improve water quality in Deep Mill Pond. We’ll also be working on installing our habitat gardens to attract birds and butterflies around our building.

Work and fun starts at 8 AM -- finishes by noon for a BBQ lunch. After lunch you can join a naturalist on a walk, or tour the ponds by canoe. Join us for an hour, or the whole day. Bring water, work gloves, and a desire to help restore the land to healthy habitats!
