Montana Audubon again hosting an online Raptor Identification Workshop this September!
Mark your calendars for September 14th as we join Flathead Audubon Society in celebrating and supporting “Raptor Migration Week”
Learning how to identify raptors takes time, so this year Montana Audubon’s Director of Policy & Science, Amy Seaman, will dive into the details with an advanced ID course. This course will help you pick up details you never saw before and learn more about the Buteo color morphs and raptor flight styles. We’ll cover a little about Montana’s soaring raptors or Buteos, Accipters and their allies, and our large eagles and vultures.
AND, to make it super convenient for you to join and support us, we are going to offer the course two times (10am and 4pm)!
This class will take about 1.5 hours, and we’ll have plenty of time for questions!
Advance registration is REQUIRED, and includes a suggested donation of $10 per person. The suggested donation for students is $5. Registration includes an access code to a recording of the class that can be viewed on YouTube.
Register for the 10am class by clicking HERE.
Register for the 4pm class by clicking HERE.
Your attendance and support will help maintain our raptor education and raptor migration research endeavors.
