In the days following our whirlwind 24-hour birding marathon, we tallied bird lists from 13 Montana Audubon staff and one board member spread across the state.
Collectively, we visited locations spread across the state, birding on public, state, and private land. We ranged from the Mission Valley down through Missoula to the Bitterroot Valley, from the Great Falls area to the Elkhorn Mountains, Canyon Ferry, and other Helena-area locations over to the Shields Valley and all across the Billings area.
