Montana Audubon works at the local, state and national policy levels to protect our natural heritage.
At the end of each legislative session, we publish a voting records; these have been published since 1983 and describe how legislators voted on Audubon’s primary issues during the Montana Legislature. We are most interested bills affecting general environmental protection, public land, wildlife and wildlife habitat.
Voting records can be used as an educational tool for you and your legislators. Please take the time to observe where your legislators stand. Talk to them about any concerns you may have regarding their votes, as well as express your appreciation of votes in your favor. Keep the voting record as a tool to use in the future for you and your legislators.
