Montana’s public lands and waters are at risk, making the 2023 Legislative session a big deal.
Once again, Montana lawmakers are threatening our public lands. It’s our duty to unite and show our elected officials that we won’t tolerate ANY attacks on the lands, waters, wildlife, or outdoor way of life that we love.
Join Montana Audubon, our partners, and other Montanans who love our wild public lands to deliver that message loud and clear at the Rally for Public Lands 2023
Thursday, February 23
Noon – 1pm
Montana State Capitol Rotunda in Helena
Montana’s public lands are one of our greatest assets, and they provide a richness to life not found in many other places. The mountains, canyons, wild rivers, sagebrush country, and rolling range provide crucial habitat for wildlife and important migration corridors. Public lands are critical in supporting more than 756 non-game animal species, including 430 bird species that call Montana home, and they need your support!
We refuse to stand by and let our elected officials chip away at Montana’s vast public lands legacy so many have worked so hard to protect for so long. This is our chance to show them that we will hold them accountable if they fail to protect our lands, waters, and way of life. This is our chance to tell them to protect our public lands and waters, not sell them off to benefit corporations and wealthy landowners at the expense of everyday Montanans.
So join us at the Rally for Public Lands!
RSVP here to attend. You can carpool or save a spot on a bus to and from Helena from Billings, Bozeman, Missoula, and Kalispell!
Excited to see you at the Capitol on Thursday, February 23.
