Global Big Day, an effort led by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, will take place on Saturday, May 14. Montana Audubon Center staff will hold a welcome and orientation for all participating birders, beginning at 7:00 am. Birders are then encouraged to hit the field–for a few minutes or a full day–to search for birds and log their sightings in Cornell’s popular eBird program. For those who wish to get started early, Center staff will lead a birding hike on Norm’s Island beginning at 7:30 am.
