Since September 2013, I have worked in many roles with Montana Audubon to promote bird and wildlife conservation across the state. I have been profoundly impacted by the many partners, colleagues, volunteers, and citizens of Montana that I have had the pleasure to work with within the world of bird conservation and I have learned many secrets that Montana’s over 430 bird species have to share. Chasing some of our uncommon and declining species has taught me about the natural abundance in our large state and highlights the value of sharing observations about what we see in the natural world.
In mid-August, I will be moving on to other projects that further my professional development, but I will be continuing to support all of the natural places and vast spaces that Montana supports. I’m excited to continue working in conservation in the future and know I’ll be part of the birding community for many years to come. Along with the skilled and passionate Science and Audubon Conservation Ranching staff, avid birders, citizen scientists, and citizen advocates will continue to drive bird conservation forward, and I will look forward to seeing what they take on next. Thank you all for your support over the years.
Sincerely,
Amy Seaman
