October Online Advanced Raptor Workshop

Back by popular demand for October is our Advanced online Raptor Identification Workshop!

Mark your calendars for October 27th to continue learning about and celebrating fall raptor migration.

Learning how to identify raptors takes time, so this October Montana Audubon’s Director of Policy & Science, Amy Seaman, will dive into the details with an advanced ID course. This course will help you pick up details you never saw before and learn more about the Buteo color morphs and raptor flight styles. We’ll cover a little about Montana’s soaring raptors or Buteos, Accipters and their allies, and our large eagles and vultures.

This class will take about 1.5 hours, plus some time time for questions!

Advance registration is REQUIRED, and includes a suggested donation of $10 per person. The suggested donation for students is $5. Registration includes an access code to a recording of the class that can be viewed on YouTube.

Register for the 5pm class by clicking HERE.

Your attendance and support will help maintain our raptor education and raptor migration research endeavors.

For details on these events, or for registration questions, please email [email protected]. If you are unable to attend but are interested please email Amy. We may be able to host additional dates if there is enough interest!

Registration opens October 13th!
