Audubon Center Committee

The Montana Audubon Center Committee works to promote and support the development and operation of the Center in alignment with the mission and strategic goals of Montana Audubon.

Scope of work:

• Promote the Center’s mission, goals, and achievements to a broad audience.
• Help the Center Director and staff establish effective relationships with community leaders and institutions and with the public at large.
• Work with the Center Director and staff to develop and implement annual and strategic plans.
• Provide recommendations on conservation and education initiatives, land management, and science.
• Make the Center one of their charitable giving priorities. Help staff members identify, cultivate, solicit, and acknowledge donors.
• Help staff promote and host an annual fundraising event, Evening Under the Big Sky.
• Advise Montana Audubon’s Executive Director and Board of Directors regarding annual budgets, strategic goals, and new opportunities or problems as they arise.
